The Frontera Pride Film Festival was launched to present the stories of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community through film exhibition.
With the inaugural theme of "Building Bridges Across Borders", the festival took center stage in June 2009.
Led by an arts and culture-focused committee of volunteers, the festival is driven by a desire to create a community event that will become an annual tradition about, by and for this vital population.
The organization operates as a 501(c)3 nonprofit through the generosity of the Frontera Women's Foundation, and all donations are tax-deductible.
